Actually, Revlon released three Nail Art lines, Expressionist, MoonCandy and Neon. All the three lines are extraordinarily pretty and classy in their own way.

The Expressionist Collection has one matte-like nail polish on one side then a sparkly one on the other side. The brush on the matte-like nail polish is wider compared to the brush on the sparkly shade. The skinny brush allow you to draw little details on you nails, it lets you express yourself like no one ever could. 🙂

The Moon Candy Collection consists of a dark shade on one side and a glitter filled shade on the other. You basically put on the darker shade first then top it off with the glittery polish. You will end up with a design that looks like galaxy prints.

The Neon Collection has a white shade on one side that will serve as your base polish then a shocking neon color on the other that will surely add a pop of color on your nails! The Neon collection is actually my favorite among the three 🙂

Above is the photo of the shades that I got. That’s basically how they look when applied on your nails. 🙂
  1. 290 Universe
  2. 230 Satellite
  3. 260 Meteor
Two coats is enough with the MoonCandy Collection, however, you have to be careful when applying the glitter top coat because there’s a possibility that it will wipe off your base coat. It happened to me twice. 🙁 You wouldn’t wanna ruin your perfectly applied base coat because of some carelessness, right?
    4. 360 Vincent Van Gold
    5. 320 Monet
I don’t have any problems with the Expressionist collection though I just ended up with a simple french tip. I guess I’m that bad at expressing myself? lol. 😀
    6. 110 Voltage
Okay Okay, A french tip again? Yes! But I find this one really hot and perfect for summer! We usually see designs with white french tip, why not reinvent the look and have White as the base then a pop of neon on the tip? It pleases the eyes I guess! I gotta go hoard some more from the Neon Collection!

One last thing, thank you to Eman De Leon for sending these awesome Revlon Goodies! Please go and Like Make Up ala Drama Queen Manila’s Facebook Page!

I recently got this blushes from Lumiere Cosmetics. 🙂
I fell in love with the shades the moment I opened the package, I like the fact that they are two completely different shades.

Terre Cotta is more of an orange-y blush that would suite “morena” girls like me and it doesn’t have much shimmer, more like a matte blush 😉
Autumn however is a fair shade of pink that will surely look good on girls with fair complexion. It’s also a shimmery blush. 🙂 But when applied to the cheeks, it is not that shimmery so there’s still a place for this blush on girls with oily skin. Hahaha!
I also love the way that it is packed, it doesn’t give much clutter unlike other mineral makeup that was packed in a simple jar with a sifter.

At first I thought this blush will literally fall off like any other mineral make ups if I don’t use a primer underneath it. But I was completely wrong. It doesn’t fall of a bit and it is so pigmented that I only need a little amount of it on my brush every time I’ll use it.

I also love the fact that it’s a mineral blush, so it’s okay with the ones with sensitive skin 😉
All in all, this blush is a must buy and it is surely worth your money. A great product!

Revlon says you can Easily create limitless looks with a this palette.

Each palette features a primer, 3 highly pigmented shadows, and a sparkle top coat. Use wet for more color intensity. Add sparkle top coat for a multi-dimensional, intensely shimmering effect.

I love that this palette comes with a primer and is so compact but I’m not really fond of its pigmentation. It’s not that pigmented but it’s quite easy to blend.

It tends to fallout too even if you use the primer included in the palette. 🙁 But I love that it comes in lots of colors which will give you lots of room to play 🙂 It’s affordable too, you can buy it at any Revlon counters at around 700php to 800php. I’m not really sure but it will not go over 800php 😛
I used the palette “Bohemian” in the photo above. The blue shade on Bohemian’s palette simply reminds me of my childhood when I would sneak in my Grandma’s room and play with her make ups. Hey! Isn’t everyone’s first love when it comes to eye shadow is that blue and pink shade on your mom/grandma’s palette? 😛 It’s definitely my favorite and I know it’s yours too! 😀

Ahh. So much of my childhood memories was brought back by this Bohemian Palette. How nostalgic! 😀

The Final Verdict : I love how this Palette can give you much options and will let you attain that Ombre Eyeshadow effect in no time but I’m not really a fan of its pigmentaion. I love the Revlon Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow more. 😉

I believe that Revlon PhotoReady Primer, Shadow + Sparkle is for beginners as it has an illustration at the back that will tell you how to do your eye makeup. It makes applying eyeshadow an easy breezy one 😉

BB Creams also known as Blemish Balm Cream was invented 50 years ago in Germany. It was originally intended to be used on plastic surgery patients to help reduce their blemishes.

If it’s intended for plastic surgery patients, how does it make its way on make up counters? Well, it’s rage started when Korean actresses started using them and flaunting them. Who wouldn’t want to try something that is being used by the koreans? They are well known and have always been envied by most girls because of their blemish-free skin!

  •  This BB Cream only costs 650php.
  • Buy One, Get One at HALF OFF (2 BB Creams for P975) – this is great for sharing with a friend or buying a backup
  • Wholesale BB Cream (30% off the retail price)

And as I have featured in this post, I recently got my first ever BB Cream to indulge to from CarmenClaire Cosmetics. I have mentioned before that I truly love this and that I’ll use every last bit of it. I’m sticking to what I’ve said because I still love it till now. I’ve been using it everyday and I haven’t seen any downside yet. 😉 I’m pretty much contented with this Beauty Republic Dramatic Tinted Cream.

It comes out from the tube as a pure white cream but it blends well on skin as you gently rub it on. You must take care not to take much product out of the tube since a very little amount comes a really long way. 🙂
  • SPF37 – Keeps you protected with the harsh rays of Sun.
  • Moisturizes my skin really well.
  • It blends really well.
  • It hides my blemishes.
  • Convenient. I no longer need to wear moisturizes under it and I don’t need a powder to set it. That’s two steps slashed of my beauty routine!
  • It is long wearing, it’s perfect for the weather in the Philippines and it will work well on other Tropical countries, I guess?
  • A little product comes a long way.
  • Affordable. It’s only 650php for a 30gram tube that could last you a month or two? I have been using it everyday for a month now and there’s still a lot left on my tube.
  • The only downside is it tends to feel sticky upon applying to my face but you won’t feel any stickyness when it’s set.

I am wearing the Beauty Republic BB Tinted Cream on the photo above. No edits. It really gives a flawless finish 🙂

“We believe that we can use colors to express our moods and personalities. It’s not always about what’s good for your skin tone, or if it matches your outfit for the day. Sometimes, it’s also fun to step out of your comfort zone once in a while and try a new shade on. You just might be surprised how well it suits you,” says Olive Bolico, Caronia Brand Manager.
So go ahead and express yourself in colors this season.  Try a combination of baby blues and pinks with Caronia Blue Chill + Caronia Rosy Glow.  Or go for an outdoorsy feel with a green and blue combo using Caronia Fresh Mint + Caronia Blue Chill.
