dove volume dry shampoo review

It is not a common practice to use a dry shampoo in my country, Philippines. We are used to washing our hair every single day because of our crazy hot and humid weather. I have always watched youtube gurus using different kind of dry shampoos and I have always wondered how it does its wonders in one’s hair so when I cam across this Dove Volume Dry Shampoo while grocery shopping, I just knew I had to get this so I can finally try using a dry shampoo!

What I like about the Dove Volume Dry Shampoo:

  • It smells really good.
  • It saves me time. You know those feeling when you just washed your hair but halfway through the day you’re already feeling icky and grossed out by your hair’s too much oil? Fret not above those annoying moment, the Dove Volume Dry Shampoo is here to save the day! Just spray it on your roots, let it sit a bit to absorbs oil and then brush away. That easy!
  • It volumizes my hair. Caring for our locks is not as easy as what boys thinks, wash it seldom and you’re left with a hair weighed down by the oils. It’s crazy how when you wash it too often, it gets weighed down too. Good thing is with this dry shampoo, it leaves your hair feeling fresh and smelling good without weighing it down.
  • It’s affordable compared to other brands. Before I got my hands on this Dove Dry Shampoo, all the dry shampoo I could find online costs no less than 500php.
What I don’t like about the Dove Volume Dry Shampoo:
  • Nothing. I love it so far!

I love the idea of this! Never knew they had this and I had never seen it before. Dove products are great for my sensitive skin and I would love to use a dry shampoo. Will be looking out for it the next time I am shopping.

It's main purpose is to minimize hair oil and give your hair volume. It's just such a bonus that the Dove Dry Shampoo has a lovely scent. 🙂

Dove always offers a wide range of nice, fragrant products and I'm sure this is one of them. Though I won't be needing anything for increasing hair volume, I wouldn't mind having this for my usual travels.

I haven't tried a dry shampoo before mainly because I love showering (I do it twice a day) and I can't imagine not rinsing my hair with water. But I want to try this Dove try shampoo just for the sake of trying, see how it's any different from using the regular shampoo. And I agree, it's not that expensive so why not.

I'm also curious about this. I didn't know it's cheap and available in SM. How did it go with your hair? Was it affected by today's weather? I want to try it too!

Leave ons are usually creams and liquids while the Dove Dry Shampoo is a spray. They actually do the exact opposite job, leave ons have the tendecy to weigh down your hair and make it look flatter while dry shampoos tend to give your hair more volume. And also, leave ons provide extra oils to your hair while dry shampoos get rid of the oils. 🙂

I actually love rinsing my hair too but washing my hair too often weighs down my hair. And also, I like to use the Dove Volume Dry shampoo even if I just washed my hair for the sake of volume. Haha!

It made my hair smell fresher and it managed to get rid of excess oils. 🙂 And I love how volumized my hair looks like after using this.

oh this reminds me of the Cream Silk Leave on that I used to apply when I was in Highschool.. my "totoy days" haha
I guess this is really ideal especially if you need a quick fix and yet you got no time to do all the hair washing

Finally! There's a cheaper version naman pala of a dry shampoo here. I didn't know about that but ow, I would like to get one and try it myself. What prevents me from getting a dry shampoo is that thought of it being expensive. If it's price like Dove, then definitely I'm getting one for myself. Thanks for this!
