Tony Moly Pure Eco Aloe Gel Review

tony moly pure eco aloe gel review

I’ve had this Tony Moly Pure Eco Aloe Gel for months now and I’ve used it as a face moisturizer for weeks and it does make my skin soft and supple. I like wearing it right before I do my makeup as it hydrates my skin really well. I have an oily/combination skin and the fact that this doesn’t contain any oil is a bonus!

We all know that Aloe Vera does wonders to our skin but the downside with fresh Aloe Vera (we have Aloe Vera plants at home) is that it smells nasty. I wouldn’t want to apply fresh ones on my face because I know I wouldn’t be able to stand the smell! It’s nauseating. So I believe the next best thing is this Tony Moly Pure Eco Aloe Gel since it contains 92% Aloe Vera. And this one smells super nice!

aloe vera gel used to cure sunburns

Aloe Veras are notorious in healing sunburns too and since we got sunburned really bad in our recent Pangasinan trip, I’d apply generous amounts of this soothing gel on my sunburn and it does help a lot. I am not peeling as bad as Earvin does.

The only downside about this Pure Eco Aloe Gel is its packaging. It comes in a tub and it doesn’t have a spatula to go with it. All I can think about is bacteria, bacteria, bacteria!! When you’re planning to use this as a facial moisturizer, I’d suggest that you dip a q-tip in the tub to get a little amount of the gel so that the product won’t get contaminated and that it can last you longer. It’s a 300ml tub and a little goes a long way for this baby so it will last you months if you’ll use it as a facial moisturizer alone.

affordable oil free moisturizer for oily skin

Overall, I really love this Pure Eco Aloe Gel from Tony Moly and I have fell in love with it even more when it aides me in soothing my sunburns! It’s a great overall gel that’s good to have lying around at home. I have to mention that it helps in healing wounds faster too. 🙂

And also, it’s super affordable! The 300ml tub only costs 249php. 🙂 Such a steal, right?

I've never tried a product like this before, it looks and sounds interesting! When I went to Aruba a few years ago, I tried out some of their local creams that contained aloe, which is what they're known for, and didn't really like the consistency. The gel formula in this product, however, seems more like that of the actual Aloe plant. Thanks so much for sharing, girlie, and I hope your behaving a great day so far!

Hi Jalisa, that's what I really like about this product actually. The consistency is very close to the actual plant minus the stinky smell! 🙂 I hope you're having a great day too! 🙂

Great post!! I have an aloe plant, but have never had the heart to break it open. It's nice to know that I don't need to because it stinks anyway haha… I never would have guessed! I want to give this stuff a try.
