We head out quite early during our second day of our Baguio 2015 adventure, The Mines View Park was our first stop mainly because we wanted to buy Ube Jam. lol.
We ate breakfast in a restaurant at the vicinity of Mines View Park and that was our view while eating breakfast! <3 I forgot the name of the place but the food they serve is good and relatively cheap. 🙂
The Mines View Park:
We enjoyed walking around Mines View Park mainly because there’s a lot of pretty flowers and a lot of herbs which you can buy at a cheap price compared to the prices at Metro Manila. I wanted to buy succulents so bad while my boyfriend wants to buy lots of herbs. However, we didn’t buy any since we don’t have our own car and it’ll be too much of a hassle to bring them home.
lol. This horse is cooler than me!
Can you believe they sell strawberries at 150php per kilo? So cheap! It’s usually 100+ per 100grams at the mall 🙁
The Good Shepherd Convent:
After Mines View park, we went to the Good Sheperd Convent to buy my favorite Ube Jam <3 Haha!
Then to The Mansion 🙂
Right across The Mansion is the Wright Park. We took a lot of selfies in there. I don’t know why but the woods remind me so much of The Twilight. Haha!
Girls gotta retouch!!
La Presa at Wright Park:
The infamous Strawberry Taho!
Baguio Botanical Garden:
We head to the Botanical Garden next. We just want to take our photos by the wall and we’re shocked when the Igorots formed a group around us. I thought they just want to be in our photo. Turns out you need to pay them when they’re in your photos. 10php per person whether you invite them to be in your photos or not. lol.
We also went to the Baguio Cathedral after going to the Botanical Garden. My mom taught me to go to a nearby church wherever I go. It’s like thanking Him for letting me explore a certain place.
After a tiring but fun day spent taking photos so we headed to Shakeys to eat dinner. I kid you not, we took 300+ photos that day on my camera alone. Haha!
We had a few drinks after dinner but I decided not to include the photos since all you’ll see is our haggard faces. 😀
Next time we go to Baguio City, we wanted to try local restaurants. What restaurants would you suggest
