I forgot to take a photo of the entrance of The Cafe – Hyatt City of Dreams Manila when we dined there so that explains why I have a photo of bread for an opening and featured image. Haha. Sorry! Anyway, if you have read my engagement post, you probably already know that Earvin and I had a simple lunch date at Hyatt for our anniversary. π
The Cafe – Hyatt City of Dreams Manila:
The Cafe is the number 1 restaurant in Metro Manila according to Trip Advisor. They are well-known for their buffet spread and different monthly promotions. If you are not a big eater and you think buffets does not suit your appetite, fret not because The Cafe has an a la carte menu too. π
I can’t remember exactly how many stations they have but I believe they have an Asian, Western, Italian, Deli, and Dessert Station. Our first stop is the Asian Station. We had their Siomai and Xia Long Bao. The Siomai is very meaty and so is the Xiao Long Bao. I loved both so much that I had Earvin get a second plate for us. Haha!
I am only realizing now that I am writing this blog post that I forgot to take a photo of my favorite Pizza! I forgot its name but I believe it’s a Pesto Pizza. If you happen to dine at The Cafe, look for the Italian section and try that pizza. It was so good, I promise! I ate four slices of those. FOUR slices in one sitting!
If you’re with a child, I am pretty sure they will enjoy the fries and burger sliders at the buffet. This will probably be their favorite station next to the dessert station, of course.
They also have a fresh seafood station where you can pick the type of seafood you prefer and have the chef cook it for you. Just let them know what dish that you please. The chef will graciously cook it for you. I had sweet chili shrimp and it was the bomb!
We came in an hour after the lunch buffet opening so I’m sorry if not all the dishes are full in the photos! It’s a good thing, right? It means the diners loved the food! They have a ton of selection and I wasn’t able to memorize all of them so I am leaving you with photos instead. However, these aren’t even complete, there’s a lot more options that I wasn’t able to take a photo of. Just visit The Cafe – Hyatt City of Dreams Manila and see it for yourselves, they always have promotions at Metrodeal anyway!
If you are trying to eat healthier, there are a lot of vegetable options for you. Make the most out of them!
I am more than sure that The Cafe – Hyatt City of Dreams Manila is a kid’s favorite buffet too. Just look at the selections at the dessert station! From candies, tarts, chocolates, cakes, and even native dessert like halo-halo and flans! They pretty much have it all.

As for the service, the staff’s hospitality is exemplary. Ms. Jae warmly welcomed us and made sure the we feel comfortable. Our servers Mark and Adrian attended to all our requests and were very attentive. I enjoyed how the chefs graciously attended to our food requests too, they are very nice and they cook really good food! π
Oh wow, this is a foodie’s idea of heaven, surely?! haha. The desserts look incredible, though right now I’d love to tuck into one of those delicious burgers…

Wow, what I truly love about cafe hyatt is a boatload of food to choose from. I love how you have captured the foods, it looks so tempting and luscious and I’m sure all of them are really delicious. I also love that almost all kind of my favorite food are available here and would love to come here soon If I get the chance. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Although i used to pass by the area, i never been inside the City of Dreams actually haha… as much as I love buffets sabi ng mama ko .. lugi daw ako lagi because i always eat less portion lang haha and usually desserts ang kinukuha ko lols
this is an interesting place.. there’s really so much to choose from and they all look really good!
I keep passing by City of Dreams and wonder what it looks like inside. Glad that thereβs a buffet place inside! Do you know the price range of their buffet? I know we can just call them but I think itβs better that we have some idea as to how much we would pay for the buffet. π
Gosh buffets are so… delicious! Well, depending on the buffet. I never eat before going to a buffet because I just can’t eat as much as I used to. This spread looks like a real ezperience and I’m sure it’s delicious.
I like me a good buffet restaurant. This seems like a good one. Trust you had a great time, and congratulations on your engagement.

LOL!
same here Sir Robert… Not very picky with the foods I eat (I actually eat anything) but only on small portions lang so being in a buffet, lugi din ako because I only eat less yet I have to pay in full haha.. But my brother is different.. he’s my exact opposite .. he will fill up his plates as many dishes as possible and he can finish them all in one sitting and take note.. may round 2 or 3 pa haha
I’ve only just finished breakfast but this post is making me hungry again! You’ve done an incredible job photographing the cafe, it makes it feel like I’m there in person!
I’m planning a trip through Asia for 2018, I’ve bookmarked this page to save for later because I *love* buffets!!
At this rate I will have to forego all my dieting plans. Such a wide range of food. Hyatt chain has a good standard.
Their food spread is always good.
I am an occasional buffet eater and I haven’t been here. Base on your photos, I would really want to dine here! I also love the fact that they offer different cuisines plus the veggie options. Will check out deals for The Cafe for sure!
First of all, happy anniversary and congrats on your engagement!
This is what I would call a buffet. It has so many choices that would just leave you wanting to eat everything! Just curious about their rates though, you mentioned it would depend on their promo. So, when you ate there how much did you pay? Even just the range, just so we would have an idea.
I think I am always used to in eating in buffets. I almost toured around all buffets here in Pampanga and I want to venture for more. I haven’t hear that City of Dreams has a buffet area. I wish I can bring my family there and also try their scrumptious array of food.
That is quite the place to visit and enjoy fresh tasty food that is healthy as well… Everything in your photos looks like REAL FOOD, which is what I love! I’ll have to add this Cafe in the Hyatt Manila to my bucket list ; )
Don’t worry. Your bread photo is beautiful it doesn’t ruin your post. I also love dining in there and enjoy the variety of food it can offer. I am not much of a buffet person but I simply love the many choices in front of me and how they are presented. And yes, great deals we could get at Metro Deal.
My first thought was that this is a bakery not a restaurant π But that bread and everything really looks great and so does the other food. Everything looks fresh and those cakes are absolutely yummy. The one with roses decorations is interesting and I really wonder how it tastes.
This cafe looks amazing! And don’t worry, the basket of bread as an opener definitely caught my eye. I love carbs!

CHEESEEEEE! So how was the selection of cheeses in The Cafe? I loved the cheese room in Sofitel… And based on these wonderful shots… I’m excited to try out this buffet in Hyatt soon!
This place looks like a gem!

I’m a HUGE fan of buffets, especially if the food is delicious, well presented, and its host has already made a name for itself. Cafe Hyatt ticks off all those boxes! I might have to take my boyfriend here for a little pig-out sesh, haha.
wow! It seems this is a foodies’ paradise. They have a good variety of food choices including dessert choices…
I really like this cute cake for your anniversary celebrations.Congratulations on your engagement and anniversary!
Amazing how many stations they have – the food looks delicious!
