Prony the Python was once Bohol’s superstar python! He was the biggest one in captivity before he died about two years ago. He was 23feet long and weighs about 280kgs. His cause of death is unknown to experts but the caretakers in the mini-zoo said that he probably died of old age.
Prony the Python’s Skeleton is being displayed at the mini-zoo. It is super long!
Even though Prony the Python died, they still had three huge Python in captivity. One of whom they claimed to be Prony’s daughter. Unlike the python in Tagaytay’s Picnic Grove Mini Zoo, their mouth is not taped up. And yes, the caretakers will let you touch them and take photos with them even if their mouth is not taped up.
Earvin took a photo with what they claimed to be Prony’s daughter. She’s so huge and is so shiny. The caretakers said she is so shiny because she just finished molting. Her skin was even hanged in the place.
Yes, that’s a snake skin casually hanging on a branch of a tree.
Prony the Python’s grandchildren:
A man has these snakes in containers by the exit. He claims that these were Prony the Python’s grandchildren. Haha! He will let you hold them and take photos with them in exchange of “donations”. At first, Earvin thought he was selling them and was interested for a moment. lol whut.
By the way, you can also buy a delicacy called chichaworm at the mini-zoo. They remind me of the fish feed being sold in Cartimar! We didn’t buy them ’cause I know both Earvin and I won’t eat them. Haha! But it’s healthy though, it contains lots of protein!
If it’s you, would you try the Chichaworm? Are you going to hold the python and carry them around your neck even if their mouth is not taped up? Hmm.
