beautiful chocolate hillsNext stop after the ATV Ride? The infamous Chocolate Hills! It is what makes Bohol popular and it’s pretty much the highlight of our Bohol Countryside Tour.

You can’t take long breaks in between steps because the stairs are pretty narrow. There’s one line to the steps going up and another one going down so if you were to take breaks, you will most likely bother other tourists. I have sedentary lifestyle so my knees were killing me halfway up. Haha!

The Chocolate Hills:

It makes the hills look like chocolate. It is composed of over a thousand hills spread over a 20 square mile area.

Oo that’s so nice! I love the name it was given, there’s something so outstanding about this view and magnificent! I’ve never travelled to Philippines, but it’s sure is on my bucket list, and I can’t wait to book a ticket for there, and be able to enjoy Cebu and Bohol!

Visiting the Chocolate Hills is included in my bucket list. When I was in grade one, I loved to draw the Chocolate Hills. On my innocent mind, I really thought I could eat it. Haha! I did not know the real reason why it is called Chocolate Hills until I read your post about it. Everything is crystal clear now. 🙂
