There’s no doubt that Korean Skin Care is one of the best and one of the most raved about these days. one of the korean brands that has to be easily accessible in our country has got to be Etude House. I love their eyebrow products and now that I’ve decided to take care of my skin more, I did a bit of shopping and got their Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam.
I’ve read a lot of good stuff about baking powder. I’ve seen a lot of natural and DIY skin care items which contains baking powder. So when I saw the Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam, I just know I have to give it a try.
It has a faint citrus-y scent which I love. I especially love using it on mornings as it kind of wakes my senses up.
It also feels like it does a bit of exfoliating, thanks to the baking powder infused into it. Actually, I prefer it than microbeads which is said to harm our environment in the long run.
I must mention that it’s pretty affordable at less than 200php. A little goes a long way too, I’ve been using it for a month now and I’m not even halfway through the tube.
Did I mention that the Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam lathers like a dream too? A pea sized amount already gives you a good amount of lather. I personally prefer cleansing products that lathers well as I feel like it’s really cleaning the gunk out of my face.

Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam Ingredients
Well, my skin definitely feels cleaner after every wash and much softer too. I love how it exfoliates my skin gently enough without drying it out. I have oily to combination skin and eversince I started using the Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing foam, my oil has always been at bay.
If you’d ask me if I’ll repurchase this after finishing the tube, I’d say yes in a heartbeat! It’s pretty affordable and it does the job really well too!
By the way, I got this on sale at Althea Korea! Remember my Althea Korea haul? 😛
This sounds like a keeper. Skincare is so important to me. I use a natural scrub. It smells like pineapple and it’s so good! Always great to share favorite products with each other!
I have never heard of this product before. But from review I can say it sounds like a really good one.
I even checked their website to learn more. Does whiten the skin though?
I was curious on how this baking powder works, because when I hear baking powder, I think of kitchen. Anyway, looks like you got yourself a nice product and I may not know anything at all, but what works for you is what matters.
I also love Etude House’s eyebrow products. Curious about baking powder. I’ve heard all the benefits of baking soda, but not baking powder. I’m thinking they’re different, right? Anyway, I’ll check this out when I’m done with my current one.
While this is the first time that I am hearing about this product, I am keen on trying this one. Is baking powder the same as baking soda? Baking soda has a lot of benefits and I myself saw how effective it is as product that can be used for hair care, skin care, and well – even cleaning. I’m all for skin care and this is from Etude, so yup, I’m going to try this one out.
Nice one , I heard a lot about using baking powder for body and facial care. Finally a product based on baking powder ! Your review sounds really promising, will definitely look out for it . Remarkable , that you have posted a pic of the ingredients !!! Great job!
How was the long term effect? hehe. Is it suitable for sensitive skin too? I really liked Etude since I was in high school and their products never fail to impress me. So this must be a good one to try too but being the meticulous person that i am when it comes to skin care products, I hope it doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. hehe 🙂
I know baking powder can do wonders! But this is the first I’m hearing of a product with this:)
Sounds pretty amazing… I’m glad it worked for you…
I would like to try this! I have also heard good things about using baking powder for the skin. And I have a Korean eyeliner that I love. I’ve never tried Korean skincare but I would like to!
I can’t really relate. The only product I use for skin is Nivea for Men to hydrate my skin. But it sounds like a good product, my girlfriend might be interested about it
Oh I actually never heard of this product before but that sounds really interesting… so as what the term connotes, the main ingredient of this product is baking powder right? Wow I never thought baking powder can also be used as cosmetic item!
Oooh this sounds like something I should try soon! Thanks for the reco!
Thanks for sharing i also wanted to try the products in Etude House, but it’s quite expensive here in Thailand LOL ^^ however i enjoy reading your review with the baking powder cleansing foam ^^
