If you’ll ask me what my current favorite restaurant is, I’d answer Cafe Mary Grace in a heartbeat! It has such a homey ambiance plus the food is very delicious, they are priced really well too 🙂

Grilled Cheese Rolls – 50php each |
Please don’t laugh at us but here’s a dirty little secret, we treat their grilled cheese rolls as an appetizer. Hahaha! It’s heaven in every bite, it has lots of cheese and the toasty crust makes everything even better. It just melts in your mouth, and the next thing you know is it’s all gone.

Classis Carbonara – 229php |
This has got to be Earvin’s favorite. If I can remember it correctly, during our first four consecutive visits, Earvin ordered only their Classic Carbonara. Yup, he loved it. So much.
 |
Seafood Pasta – 270php |
I’d have to say this is my least favorite among all their dishes, it tastes bland and there’s not a hint of seafood flavor in the pasta. So I ended up just picking all the seafood bits for me to eat, leaving all the pasta behind. It’s quite disappointing.

Beef Tapa with Scrambled Eggs – 335php |
It’s breakfast all day, everyday at Cafe Mary Grace. 😉 We actually like ordering their Beef Tapa for dinner. It’s a must try! It’s both our favorite and I’m quite surprised that Earvin enjoyed this dish because he is never really fond of beef. I guess it’s because Cafe Mary Grace’s Beef Tapa is juicy and is not greasy at all. It’s quite sweet too!

Beef Tapa’s Sides |
The Beef Tapa (or everything in their Breakfast Menu for that matter) comes with three sides. A Sukang Pinakurat, a mix of chopped tomatoes and onions, and pickled green mangoes. The pickled green mangoes are my absolute favorite. It reminds me of my mommy, she used to make that all the time when I was little. 🙂

Sansrival – 105php/slice |
Did I mention that Mary Grace’s cakes are the best cakes I’ve ever had so far? Their Sansrival melts in your mouth and has generous amounts of cashew. I looove cashew! The french butter cream isn’t too sweet too, making this Sansrival the best ever!

Chocolate Truffle Cake – 130php/slice |

Chocolate Truffle Cake – 130php/slice |
THIS IS THE BEST CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE CAKE EVER. Seriously, you gotta try it. It’s worth every calorie, believe me! It has the right sweetness, the cake melts in your mouth, and the chocolate is simply decadent.
Some other favorites from Cafe Mary Grace:
- Limone Santi – 110php/slice
- Fried Bangus with Scrambled eggs – 217php
- Spanish Sardines & Olives Pasta – 264php
I hope this post made your mouth water! lol. If you have tried Mary Grace before, drop your favorite dishes on the comment box below. I’m open to any suggestions. And also, feel free to reccommend the restaurants you love. I’d gladly try them out!

I absolutely wanted to try this place when i visit our homeland ..thanks for sharing …
I also like the Carbonara dish. Thanks for the tip on the Seafood Pasta. I once had their Sansrival but didn’t like it too much. It a bit hard. Maybe it had been out for the day. The Chocolate Truffle Cake is yum though!
